PONDA: Ponda police have arrested a youth from Borim on charges of possessing drugs valued at Rs 1.43 lakh. Police conducted a raid at a site near the Borim panchayat office early Tuesday morning and nabbed Sunny Naik (33) in alleged possession of 1.433 kgs of ganja worth about Rs.1.43 lakh. The accused was arrested in this connection and PSI Pratik Bhat is conducting further investigation under the guidance of Police Inspector Vijaynath Kavlekar.
