The third edition of the Goa Cashew Fest will take place in April, the Goa Forest Development Corporation (GFDC) announced.
The three day event to be held from April 25-27 at DB Grounds, Campal, Panaji aims to celebrate Goa’s rich cashew heritage, unite farmers and industry stakeholders, and create widespread awareness about the significance of the cashew industry in the state.
The festival will honour and felicitate farmers and industry stakeholders for their unwavering dedication to preserving and advancing Goa’s cashew legacy. Over 50 stalls will feature a vibrant mix of gift shops, cashew produce stalls, and food stalls, offering a diverse selection of cashew-infused cuisine crafted by renowned chefs and restaurants.
The festival will offer interactive workshops and educational sessions focused on cashew cultivation techniques, sustainable farming practices, and industry trends.
Introduced in 2023, the festival aimed to showcase cashew and discuss ways to increase its production in the State.
