Former PWD Minister Churchill Alemao on Saturday took strong exception to the remark made by Benaulim MLA Venzy Viegas that Alemao goondagiri is back in Benaulim with BJP support.
Churchill told the media that the Benaulim MLA should stop targeting the entire Alemao family, saying the MLA should name the person if he has any grievance with any member the Alemaos.
He pooh poohed the MLA’s statement that the Alemaos are back again with goondagiri, saying the people of the Benaulim know who is flexing his muscles within the Assembly and outside.
“The Benaulim MLA is frustrated since he cannot show any development in the constituency. Hence, he is trying to drag the Alemaos to gain some support. People of Benaulim constituency are wise and they will teach the MLA a lesson in 2027”, Churchill said.
