Cong alleges national anthem sung wrongly

PANAJI

The Congress on Tuesday alleged that the national anthem was insulted by singing it wrongly at the Goa Revolution Day event at Azad Maidan.

"We condemn insult of National Anthem by @BJP4Goa @GovtofGoa at Goa Revolution Day function at Azad Maidan in the presence of Governor of Goa @psspillaigov, @goacm @DrPramodPSawant," the Congress said on its @INCGoa handle on micro-blogging site 'X' (formerly Twitter).

Dravida UTKAL Banga is pronounced as 'UCCHAL' & 'Bharat Bhagya VIDHATA is pronounced as "VIRAADA", it alleged.
