The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE) on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Consortium For Educational Communication (CEC) that will help students address matters in higher education through the use of Television and the emerging Information Communication Technology (ICT).Chief Minister Pramod Sawant informed about the MoU stating the initiative will operate as a Bridge for youth who are “aspiring to learn new things to build a better future.” He was speaking at the launch of MANDAVI (Mentoring and Nurturing Digital and Virtual Initiatives) programme aimed to use advancements in technology by mentoring and training the faculty to create high-quality Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC).
The CEC is the national coordinator designated by the Ministry of Education for MOOC.
