The NEP cell of Goa University organized a Workshop on the theme “Learning Outcomes-Based Curriculum Framework (LOCF) for Undergraduate Education”.
In his address, Vice Chancellor Harilal Menon highlighted the salient features of the New Education Policy and pointed out that conventional teaching learning and evaluation processes will be replaced by technology-enabled learning as the focus is shifting from teacher-centric education to learner-centric education.
The Vice Chancellor insisted that learning outcomes-based education is central to new education policy and that all stakeholders must be adept with this type of teaching learning and evaluation process.
Dean of Commerce and IQAC Coordinator of Kerala University Dr Gabriel Simon Thattil was the resource person for the workshop.
