The Bombay High Court at Goa will hear on Tuesday the Public Interest Litigation filed challenging the decision of the Goa government to hold a seafood festival on the Miramar beach.
A Public Interest Litigation petition has been filed before the High Court by former CCP councillor Patricia Pinto and 11 others who point out that the Government had itself given an affidavit before the Court that no festivals will be held at the Miramar beach.
On Monday when the matter came up for hearing, Advocate General Pangam requested for time up to tomorrow i.e. 06.02.2024 to place on record an affidavit on behalf of the State following which the matter was adjourned to Tuesday.
