IFFI to pay homage to stalwarts

Every edition of the International Film Festival of India pays a tribute to the stalwarts that the film industry lost.

The Homage section of the 52nd IFFI will salute the veterans we lost in the recent past. The festival will showcase films of Bertrand Tavernier, Christopher Plummer, Jean-Claude Carriere and Jean-Paul Belmondo.

Some of the films in the Homage section are - a 90-minute film ‘A Sunday in the Country’ by Bertrand Tavernier from France, English film ‘All the Money in the World by Ridley Scott of UK, casting Christopher Plummer, Michelle Williams, Mark Wahlberg, Romain Duris and Charlie Plummer.

Paying homage to Jean-Claude Carriere the film ‘At Eternity's Gate by Julian Schnabel’ will be screened. Shot in the US and France, the film is in English and French.

‘Breathless’ with cast Jean-Paul Belmondo, Jean Seberg, Daniel Boulanger will also be screened.
