Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited (IPSCDL) has announced the formation of an Advisory Committee comprising experts tasked with mapping Panaji's storm water drains. Led by Sanjit Rodrigues, Managing Director & CEO of IPSCDL, the committee includes representatives from various key entities such as the Corporation of the City of Panaji (CCP), Directorate of Settlement & Land Records Panaji, NGPDA Panaji, and others.
This committee holds a major role in devising a comprehensive strategy for mapping the city's storm water drain network. Their responsibilities involve coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure an accurate approach to mapping, analyzing existing infrastructure data, identifying vulnerable areas, and proposing recommendations to improve the efficiency and resilience of the drainage system.
Additionally, IPSCDL may invite additional members or experts as required. The committee will convene regularly to provide valuable insights and inputs, aiding IPSCDL in taking proactive measures to address storm water management challenges and enhance the city's infrastructure resilience.
