MARGAO: Manuel Rodrigues has been elected Deputy Sarpanch of the Raia Village Panchayat. The election was held on Monday. He was the only candidate who had filed a nomination for the post. Six panchayat members attended the special meeting called by the Director of Panchayats. After the election, Manuel thanked the members for supporting him.
