Upon receiving the call, a team led by Fire Officer Gill D’Sa quickly arrived with an inflatable boat for the rescue operation. The dog initially tried to move away upon seeing the rescuers but was safely rescued by the team.
Gill D’Sa mentioned that the dog appeared exhausted from trying to stay afloat in the floodwaters and might have ingested some water.
“When our team approached, the dog attempted to flee further away. Eventually, we successfully brought the stray to safety,” Gill explained, emerging from the boat with the rescued dog.
