The Margao Police have achieved a breakthrough in the murder of an unknown person at the Old Margao railway station area earlier this week.
A Margao police team, which was dispatched to Mumbai as part of the investigations into the murder, has nabbed the suspect. The team is returning with the suspect to Goa, sources said.
The unknown person, who was believed to be a rag picker was stabbed to death by the assailant with a broken bottle at the Old Margao railway station area.
The Margao Police are conducting further investigations.
