The Margao Police has managed to arrest a rape accused from Odisha, who has been absconding from his native state since the crime was committed.After receiving information, the Margao police laid a trap at Khareband to nab the accused, 23-year-old Sidharth Nayak. He was later handed over to Odisha police.
The accused has been absconding from Odisha since September 15 after committing the rape. Based on intelligence report, the Odisha police had come down to nab the accused, who was taking shelter in the state for the last two months.
