Paid Covid vaccination will commence from the first week of March at 16 private hospitals empanelled under Deen Dayal Swashtya Seva Yojana (DDSSY) in Goa for people above 60 years and people between 45 and 59 years with co-morbidities.
These hospitals include total 13 private hospitals in Goa are listed as empanelled under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana on the National Health Authority portal for administering Covid vaccines in the State.
These include Mardolkar Hospital in Bicholim, Vision Multispeciality Hospital in Mapusa, Savaikar Hospital in Warkharnem-Ponda, Usgaonkar Hospital in Sadar-Ponda, Ahirwasd Hospitalin Malbhat-Margao, Dr Madkaikar City Hospital in Margao, Victor Hospital and Medical Services in Margao, Dr Kantak’s Hospital in Margao, Mother Care Hospital in Margao, My Eye Hospital in Nuvem, Vishwa Sanjivani Health Center in Vasco, Pai Hospital in Vasco, Vaatsalya Hospital in Vasco, Manipal Hospital in Dona Paula, Healthway and SMRC Hospital. Several of these hospitals have yet to be registered on the national portal.
The list of close to 10,000 private hospitals empanelled under Ayushman Bharat PMJAY was released by the Centre on Saturday.
The price of Covid vaccine at these paid centres has been capped at Rs 250 by the Central government whereas the vaccine will be available free of cost at government centres.
