Ponda police have registered a case in connection with hill-cutting activity at Pratapnagar-Dharbandora.
Police is also likely to register a case of hill-cutting activity at Dhullai-Dharbandora.
Following hill-cutting activity at Dharbandora, a government official had filed a complaint with Ponda police on August 13.
After conducting an investigation, the police registered a case on Saturday night.
Ponda PSI Chetan Naik is investigating the case under the guidance of Police Inspector Vijaynath Kavlekar.
Meanwhile, a Flying Squad had raided a site at Dhullai-Dharbandora and had stopped hill-cutting activity.
In this regard, government officials had filed a complaint against the land owner at the Ponda police station.
