Mapusa Police have booked a resident of Porvorim for producing an affidavit with false information before the Administrator of Communidade of North Zone in 2011 to procure a plot of land under Serula Communidade.
The accused has been identified as Rajesh Verenkar, who resides in G-2, Shiva Housing Co-operative Society, Kadamba Road, Porvorim.
According to police, the accused dishonestly prepared and produced an affidavit with false information before the Administrator of Comunidade of North Zone, Mapusa to procure a plot in landed property in Survey No 380/1 in Serula Comunidade and succeeded in getting plot no 40 in landed property.
Mapusa police booked the accused based on the complaint lodged by the Administrator of Communidade of North Zone, Shivprasad Naik. Police registered an FIR under Sections 181, 182, 191, 192, 193, 196, 199, 200, and 420 of the IPC against the accused. Further investigations are on.
