RG banners vandalised in Mandrem

PANAJI

Revolutionary Goans supremo Manoj Parab condemned the vandalising of their banners by BJP workers and supporters in Mandrem recently.

They have vandalised several banners put up by RG members as an awareness campaign in Mandrem Constituency.

“During Chief Minister Pramod Sawant’s visit to Mandrem constituency several of our banners were vandalised. It is high time this BJP-led government learns to provide clean politics and good governance for Goans,” he said.

Revolutionary Goans leader from Mandrem Sunayana Gawde highlighted that they were sure of winning the Mandrem constituency seat.

“We are 100 per cent sure that our candidate will win. Everyone knows what loot and plunder has been done by the current and earlier MLAs. Over the last two weeks we were putting up banners appealing to Goans to support the POGO bill. Our party banners were vandalized at Morjim, Chopdem Agarwada and Mandrem,” she said.

“The local MLA, Dayanand Sopte should not think that RG will leave Mandrem constituency. First of all there was nothing politically involved in our banners being put up and yet BJP got scared of RG,” she added.
