The Revolutionary Goans Party (RGP) on Saturday declared its fourth list of assembly promises, with a focus on education and skill development in the State.
"Two educational hubs of international standards will be set up in two districts, while hostel facilities will be provided in and around educational institutes in Goa, if the RGP is elected to power,” said RGP leader Manoj Parab at a news conference to outline the party’s vision document.
“Fees for Goan students will be paid from government funds. We want our Goans to make an impact at the world level.”
“There will be a Skill Development Institute in each taluka in collaboration with industries, while ITIs will be upgraded,” he said.
Parab also stated that basics in agriculture will be introduced at the school level to promote agriculture in the State.
“Yoga and meditation will also be introduced to make our students mentally strong and schools will be enabled with technology and wifi facilities. A talent hunt programme will also be conducted to guide parents on career options for their children.”
