Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) in association with Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC), Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), and Goa State Industries Association (GSIA) is organising a capacity building full day program on ‘How to boost Exports of Engineering Products from Goa’ on March 16 at 10 am to 5 pm at Hotel Taj Vivanta in Panaji.
The event will be inaugurated at the hands of Puneet Goyal, Chief Secretary, government of Goa. Eminent faculty are key representatives from department of Industry Trade & Commerce (Goa), DGFT, MSME DI and ECGC. The organiser EEPC has been hugely instrumental in promoting exports in the country and their members are responsible for around $100 bn exports annually.
The discussion will benefit the exporters, industry, CEOs, heads of export firms, manufacturers, and also new exporters, entrepreneurs looking for the proper guidance to explore potential of the export markets. This will focus on bringing the majority of Goan export industries together for an important cause of enhancing exports from the State of Goa. Key objective of the program is to provide avenues for growth through exports and to existing exporters and prospective exporters (small and medium) and also to discuss their issues.
Wide range of topics will cover all the queries of Goan exporters from how DIC can help industries, exporters, export process and export promotion schemes by GoI, to export opportunities and schemes for MSMEs, risks in exports, finance for exporters, information of re-calibrating supply chain and new export markets. The exporter will get an in-depth insight on more than ten incentive schemes for MSMEs, available opportunities, new markets for exports, and supply chain, export finance covering risks.
