Two more fall prey to Covid

Two Covid-related deaths were reported in Goa raising the victim count to 643.

The deceased persons include a 62-year-old woman from Marcel and a 51-year-old man from Sindhudurg.

With the addition of 149 new cases, the total confirmed cases so far have touched 45,065 of which 1,976 are active and 42,446 have recovered. A total of 22,728 persons have opted for home isolation to date. The recovery rate now stands at 94.18 per cent.
