Two-wheeler rider injured in hit and run incident

The Fatorda police has registered a hit and run case after a two wheeler rider of an unknown vehicle fled away from the accident spot without providing medical help.

Police informed that the unknown rider of an unknown two wheeler, rode his vehicle in rash and negligent manner, endangering human life without taking proper care and caution, while proceeding from Ravidra Bhavan towards Colva side from a wrong direction.

The police further informed that when the rider reached at Colva circle, he dashed into a Jupiter scooter, from front side and due to the impact, the rider of Jupiter scooter Mabub Nasarjung,  resident of Ambelim-Velim sustained injuries to his head and right shoulder.

The police has registered a case under section 281, 125(a) of BNS Act and 134 (a) (b) of MV Act.
