No Covid deaths in last 24 hours in Goa

No Covid deaths were recorded in the daily mortality bulletin of the Directorate of Health Services on Monday, the third such occurrence this month. As a result, the total number of Covid victim count in the state remains steady at 677.

A total of 75 new cases of the infection were detected from among the 1,460 samples tested in the last 24 hours. As a result, the total confirmed cases have now touched 46,901.

Not wearing mask in public places will cost you Rs 200

PANAJIThe Goa government on Monday doubled the fine for not wearing masks in public places to Rs 200. The fines were earlier Rs 100. Disclosing this, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said this was needed as people were found without masks at places like beaches, airports, railway stations and bus stands."Till now we had been charging Rs 100 (per offense).
