Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has invited citizens to share their suggestions and ideas for the upcoming State Budget 2026-27, urging people from all sections of society to actively participate in shaping what he described as a “people-centric budget” for Goa.
In a public appeal, the Chief Minister called upon citizens, stakeholders, entrepreneurs, youth, professionals, farmers and community organisations to contribute their inputs to help the government prioritise development, strengthen public services, promote sustainable growth and ensure inclusive progress across the State.
Stressing that public participation is key to transparent and responsive governance, Sawant said the budget would reflect the aspirations and needs of the people of Goa. He encouraged citizens to submit their suggestions through the official online portal set up by the government.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to present the State Budget on March 6, the first day of the upcoming Session of the Goa Legislative Assembly. The Budget will be followed by a two-day discussion in the House before passing it.
This will be the full-fledged final budget of the current government before the State goes to polls early next year, making it a significant fiscal roadmap ahead of the elections.
