Congress leader Surendra Rajput on Sunday launched a scathing attack at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener Arvind Kejriwal over ruling out any alliance with the Congress in the Goa Assembly elections.
Accusing AAP of working as a BJP’s ‘B-Team’, Rajput too announced that Congress will go solo in the upcoming 2027 Goa elections.
On Saturday, Kejriwal, who is currently in the coastal State, ruled out any alliance with Congress stating that the “party cannot be trusted” and has been helping BJP in forming the government in the State.
Responding to the statement, the Congress spokesperson mocked Kejriwal's rejection of any alliance with the grand old party and said, "Who will contest the elections with you? We reject you. The Congress will contest the elections in Goa on its own."
Rajput accused Kejriwal and his party of betraying the public's trust by creating formulas'.
Rajput charged that the AAP supremo sold out the Anna movement, sold out India Against Corruption, and also aided the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) branches by creating 'formulas'.
"They acted as the BJP's B-team," he alleged, adding that the Kejriwal led AAP is known for dividing opposition votes.
