A two-wheeler rider Prashant Shet Verenkar who had sustained grievous injuries in a hit-and-run case three weeks ago near Safa Masjid has succumbed to injuries on Saturday at Goa Medical College at Bambolim.
According to reliable sources, Prashant Shet Verenkar was proceeding towards Upper Bazaar on June 14 on his motorcycle.
An unknown car which was proceeding towards Usgaon dashed against the motorbike of Prashant Shet Verenkar.
Since June 14, Prashant Shet Verenkar was undergoing medical treatment at Goa Medical College hospital at Bambolim. On Saturday late night he succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment. Ponda police are on the look out for the car which has caused this fatal accident.
