The Margao police has registered a case of kidnapping against an unknown person for kidnaping a minor girl from Khareband-Margao.
The father of the victim girl, a resident of Khareband, but a native of Bihar, stated that on November 15, unknown person had kidnapped his minor daughter from his lawful guardianship without his consent.
In this connection, the police has registered FIR under Section 137(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 8(2) of the Goa Children's Act, 1989.
