The first charter flight of the ongoing tourism season from Poland arrived at Manohar International Airport, Mopa, on Monday with the Enter Air flight, chartered by Rainbow Tours, landing at 9.05 am carrying 185 passengers.
The Tourism Department stated that this is the second consecutive season in which Goa features as a long-haul destination for Polish tourists.
“The arrival marked a positive step in strengthening global tourism partnerships and added that the government remained focused on promoting quality tourism, enhancing connectivity and showcasing Goa’s culture, heritage and natural attractions,” Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte said in a press statement.
Tourism Director Kedar Naik said Goa continued to see increased demand from European markets and reiterated the department’s commitment to infrastructure upgrades, collaborations and ensuring a smooth visitor experience.
