Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000) readwith Rule 2(b) and Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Guidelines for CyberCafé) Rules, 2012, the government of Goa in a notification has authorised anddesignated the Goa Police Department as the Registration Agency forregistration of cyber cafes within the state of Goa.
