Reginaldo quickly approached BJP’sAvdhut Naik with a Congress ticket offer from Dabolim if Godinho switches overto BJP. PP wonders whatever happened to Reginaldo’s friendship with Godinho.

The chain hunger strike at Azad Maidan that had allpolitically affected appointees of Mines, Animal Husbandry and Transport hadthrown up two new leaders, Sudip Tamhankar for the Congress and Vijai Sardessaiwho stole the lead taking the affected appointees to CM Manohar Parrikar who inturn assured that on the 26, after Chaturthi, he will solve the matter. Everybodywent home happy and Vijai Bab showed the Congress who was the boss. Wellalmost. Political Patrao touched base with these appointees post Chaturthi whenthey heckled Vijai again to remind CM of his promise. The call to the CM leftVijai red-faced when Parrikar asked him “which 26?. I had told you 26 but did Ispecify the month” retorted the CM.
Why am I here?
Speaking of Milind Naik, the man sure knows to be there atthe right time but in the wrong place. His presence on the dais of MPT’s PublicHearing has been questioned by many. Used to being at the podium the Hon’bleMinister was respectfully ushered to the stage by South Goa Collector N DAgarwal. Agarwal, an old BJP hand from Goa Civil Services forgot that he was tochair the proceedings in his role as a quasi-judicial authority. The ‘Hon’ble Minister’ was not meant to bechairing the meet. Poor Agarwal still needs to grow out of his past as a ChiefOfficer when he would play second fiddle to Councillor Naik.
