TG: You still have aparty very low on morale, very disunited. Does the Congress Party exist in Goaonly when in power?
SR: Being in power and being out of it does affect the way apolitical party behaves. We are very much tuned into the matters of the stateeven if out of power. For example, on mining we have made it very clear thatlegal mining should be started in the state at the earliest. Our variousoutfits are restarting their membership drive.
TG: The Mahila Congress is headless and the Seva Dalnon-descript. Where is the real Congress? Why, barring Reginaldo Laurenco, isno other Congress leader even opposing the ruling party?
SR: Yes, Reginaldo is the most vocal leader, which is good.Wait till the Jaipur brainstorming session. You will see a very aggressive andvocal Congress thereafter, where all the leaders will come out.
