The opposition parties have rightly demanded the strictest action, including suspension of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha MP Ramesh Bidhuri for using anti-Muslim slurs against his parliament colleague Danish Ali of the Bahujan Samaj Party in Parliament during a discussion on the success of Chandrayaan-3 in the Lok Sabha recently. Unfortunately, some BJP MPs are now demanding a probe against the BSP MP for instigating Bidhuri by allegedly making some "highly objectionable and blasphemous" remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Well, it should be noted that Ramesh Bidhuri was heard openly using the most disgusting words to display his open hatred towards the entire Muslim community of our country. And the worst part was that two prominent BJP MPs namely Harsh Vardhan and Ravi Shankar Prasad (who were sitting just behind Ramesh Bidhuri) were seen wickedly smiling and laughing when Bidhuri was making those deeply communal remarks. I think that if the BJP leaders want to show that their party really cares for the well-being of people of all communities then instead of going on the defensive over this very serious issue, they should take immediate action against their own Lok Sabha MP Ramesh Bidhuri.
