Chief Justice N V Ramana the custodian of the law

It appears to me that the root of all evil is the misuse ofthe law. All praises to CJI N V Ramana as we can see the upkeep of the lawsnecessary in a democracy. The CJI observed that Sec 66A of IT Act was anexpunged law used against individuals for speaking out against the government’spolicies and the sedition law (Sec 124A) was a draconian law used by theBritishers that should have been expunged 75 years ago. In a democracyexpression of views is a constitutional right and cannot be suppressed butdebated. So a big thumbs up to CJI N V Ramana for upholding the laws to benefitpeople and confirming my view that the problem isn’t in the abuse of power butin the power to abuse.
