The CM clarified that none of his ministers are involved in illegal activities and that his police are very capable. He says his govt will be cracking down on drug parties. Normally they very easily cow down to Central BJP leaders but not this time. His Police has not interrogated, leave alone arrested, the owners and employees of the resort where the victim BJP/Tik Tok star resided in despite the former’s colleagues disclosing that they purchased the drugs through the room boy. Who are they protecting?
Strangely, the media refuses to disclose the proprietor’s name nor call out the CM’s bluff. In all this protection they will finally implicate a scapegoat by their terror questioning. Now is the time to bring in the CBI: the ball is in the Governor’s court. His tourism push into the soft underbelly of Goa -- its villages -- will only push this drug menace there.
