Don't hoodwink voters with an eye on winning elections

The CM of Goa had promised to provide 16,000 litres of free water to households every month has proved to be just another way to overcharge customers. The Goa government should scrap the free water distribution scheme and roll back the revised tariffs. Already inflated water bills are shocking the common man, even though water is not properly supplied to the residents. Already the skyrocketing of fuel, LPG and essential commodities prices has drilled holes deep into the pockets of common man. The new tariffs have increased and the gimmick of giving free water was just a farce. In the name of 16,000 litres of free water, the government is hoodwinking people and that to when election is nearing. This government has failed to provide free water and ensure 24x7 water supply to people. They are making a fool of people through free water scheme. The BJP has not fulfilled any of their pre-poll assurances including putting Rs15 lakh in everyone's bank account. They think that they can fool the people and make announcements of making everything free hoping to win elections.
