Double standards in the flogging of dynastic rule has outlived outbursts and hype. In Goa elected couples like Lobos, Monserrates, Ranes are glaring faces in the ruling party fold. Sons, wives, daughters, brothers, sisters, cousins are in droves in all States in the country. Those who are barren, divorced, bachelors or spinsters cannot think of dynasty. It cannot be selectively applied to any single political family to drive an outdated point. It is for the voters to reject those politicians as it is their choice. The law of anti-defection, power of recall, maximum two terms for MLAs/ MPs also to hold positions, corruption drive against all and disproportionate assets is what is paramount. Wake up politicians, have something more positive to utter to the electorate.
