Populated Delhi reported just 5 Covid deaths in the entire month of September while the positivity rate was just 0.06%. By contrast, Goa reported around 30 deaths in September plus an additional 68 which the government says were not reported earlier.
The question that comes to mind is who is responsible for not reporting these 68 deaths. This is utter carelessness! There should be accountability and the guilty should be punished.
The Task Force on Covid must own responsibility and need to explain. Sadly, instead of demanding the explanation from those responsible the public always blames the victims for delaying treatment. Why does Delhi not have this problem?
Goan lives matter, not wounded egos. Free water, free electricity will be useless if the government does not take care of its citizens.
