Goan MLAs must take a stand on TCP Sec 39A

It was interesting to see views by Cumbharjua MLA Rajesh Faldesai who said that the TCP Department’s Section 39A will not be removed and should continue. The point to be noted here is that he has expressed his standing on the controversial issue and his voters can deal with him accordingly. Whilst other opposition MLAs (Congress/RGP/AAP/GF) have publicly expressed their views against the controversial Section 39A of the TCP Act, I request them to avoid making this movement against 39A political, talking too much about their party/election alliance and instead just  focus on being with the people to have Section 39A scrapped and justice to their colleague/MLA Viresh Borkar in the way, the Goa Police have manhandled him; surely under the instructions of Goa’s top ministers. Importantly here, two independent MLAs in particular should be requested to make their stand clear on the same are Curtorim MLA Reginald Lourence and Cortalim MLA  Anton Vas. The other independent MLA Chandrakant Shetye has already announced his intention to join BJP soon and so for him and other BJP MLAs it’s pointless to question their stand.
