The Union government has said that mass gatherings should be discouraged in view of the upcoming festive season amid the scare of the third wave of Covid-19 infections striking the country.
However if attending a mass gathering is essential then full vaccination should be a requisite. The Goa government has allowed all persons who have taken both doses of Covid-19 vaccine to enter Goa after a minimum gap of 15 days from the second jab.
According to medical experts there is every possibility of the virus being around for a long time to come. Hence a Covid-19 vaccination certificate could become an important “document” just like the Adhaar card or the PAN card.
The travelling public and those attending mass gatherings including weddings, will mandatorily have to carry a Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
It would hence be desirable to make available the vaccination certificate in the form of a laminated card just like the PAN card. A certificate in the form of a paper is cumbersome to carry and could be easily destroyed.
Hence a Covid-19 vaccination certificate in the form of a laminated card would be easier to handle and produced whenever required.
