Isn't it strange that people say only good things about a person after their death or during their final farewell journey? Perhaps it is a social convention, because that is what is expected from most blood relatives or friends. If you notice, even at the funeral of a person who was terrible or painful in life, nobody has the guts to crash a funeral and reject all social conventions. We may agree that sometimes we say good things even when we don’t mean them, just to make others feel good about us. On the flipside, there are some who end up being cosmetically good or talking angelically about their parents or siblings so that they get an adequate or extra share of the cash fixed deposit or precious metal remains. Wouldn’t it make more sense to cherish and love them while they’re still alive, rather than bringing expensive wreaths and flower bouquets when he or she is dead?
Live your life in such a way that you'll be remembered for your kindness, compassion, fairness, character, and benevolence ” so that all tears will be undoubtedly read as genuine!
