The general area light pole at Benaulim beach has thick electrical cables and jumbled internet wires mounted on it, and the junction box alongside has no lock on its shutters.
Despite reminders to the Goa Electricity Department, no remedial action has been taken. Such abject irresponsibility not only mars the aesthetics of the place but could also very well result in mishaps in the future.
