A traffic signboard depicting existence of a speed-breaker near the Federal Bank at Rukmininagar in Ponda has been recently noticed in an upside-down position. The situation is rather undesirable and tends to misguide. It also levies a negative image of the traffic cell in the minds of public at large. Since the above location tends to be a sharp turn, there is every possibility of a mishap taking place in case the above error is not rectified at once. As on Friday, February 25 at 10 am, the situation in this regard was found to be unchanged. It is absolutely necessary that safety is assured to vehicular traffic on a permanent basis. Let us hope that the concerned competent authorities would initiate prompt positive action in public interest.
