It appears our Chief Minister of Goa Pramod Sawant, who also holds the PWD portfolio is lethargic and bizarre to the potholes on the road and the unmotorable roads. It’s now a year that the Goans all over Goa, have been pitching their voice, so that the CM could hear their voices. The people’s voices resembles the music at night in Anjuna. We the people of Goa are pleading as we fear endangering our lives, saving ourselves from accidents, backaches and other health episodes. The PWD Minister has finally woken up and has admonished 30 PWD engineers and 27 contractors. The PWD has divested itself from its priority and instead of repairs, are laying the bifurcation at Verna. The dept should have associated with the electricity and telephone department, not forgetting sewage. The engineers should have been terminated and heavy fines should have been imposed on the contractor. Our sincere advice to the PWD minister and engineers. We are not interested in repairs and covering pot holes. We want the 1,200 km roads to be resurfaced and tarred, so that we can drive in peace and happiness.
