Parties,politicians should be held accountable for promises made

Politicians and political parties must be held accountable for promises made by them to seek votes as their manifesto, often turned out to be mere pieces of paper.  

The commitment made by political parties remains unfulfilled promises in the present days and manifestos have become mere pieces of paper. 

Timely reforms are necessary to give justice to the people. Political parties promise various freebies to attract voters, but such promises routinely remain unfulfilled and voters also do not agitate on the issue as they forget their unfulfilled expectation because of short term memory.

Politics in india has become a game of hero worship and idolisation.  Article 51E of the constitution requires every citizen to suggest reforms. But no serious and prompt effort have been made to effect any reforms.

There is a need to ensure that in every government office all staff from the peon to the director is very punctual in reporting for work.Even in the Secretariat at Porvorim we very sadly see staff merrily walking in past 11 am if not later. This is impermissible and the Chief Secretary must crack the whip.
