Protect Goa’s heritage; say no to destructive projects

We, the Niz Goenkars, proud citizens of Goa, firmly oppose the projects that are destroying our peaceful atmosphere, environment, and cherished villages. We elected our MLAs to address our basic needs and to listen to the genuine voice of the people of Goa”not to sell our land and heritage for the greed of money. The introduction of rules and projects that are rapidly turning Goa into a concrete jungle threatens the very essence of what makes our state unique and beautiful. We urge our leaders to preserve Goa’s natural beauty and cultural heritage and let Goa remain as it was”an oasis of peace, nature, and tradition. Remember, greed will be your downfall. After death, no one can take money, gold ornaments, or land with them; what belongs to the world will remain in the world forever. We appeal to you to seek blessings from the sons and daughters of this soil, not curses that your innocent families will have to bear for the consequences of your actions. Enough is enough. It is time to prioritize Goa’s environment, culture, and people over short-term profits.
