Task Force needs to monitor Covid scene

There is more bad news on the Covid front. A study claims that those who have recovered are suffering silent, painless kidney damage!

The study in the Journal of American Society of Nephrology showed 7.8 extra people per 10000, reported requirement of dialysis or kidney transplant which was more severe for hospitalized cases.

Is this a small number? This can turn out to be 136 people considering the 1.74 lakh cumulative cases in Goa. Compound this with the history of politics in the dialysis machines in Goa!

The Task Force needs to weigh in all studies before deciding. Already they were silent when the government got the HC to allow travelers to Goa with both vaccine doses.

In Karnataka and Maharashtra, young adults are succumbing to the Covid. Offline classes have started in some schools in Goa totally ignoring the SOPs laid down by the authorities.

The Task Force it seems is not monitoring the situation and is just silent. Their authority is being hijacked but the final responsibility will be theirs.
