Appreciating invaluable role of homemakers

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, many messages rightly celebrate ambitious and career-oriented women who are making great progress in different fields. Their achievements deserve recognition and appreciation. However, I would also like to draw attention to another group of women whose contribution often goes unnoticed ” homemakers. They dedicate their time and energy to managing the household, supporting their loved ones, and ensuring the well-being of the family. In doing so, many of their personal aspirations and professional dreams are quietly set aside. Their work may not come with a salary, promotions, or public recognition, yet it forms the foundation on which families and society function. In many cases, it is because of their sacrifices and support that other members of the family are able to pursue and achieve their goals. This Women’s Day, let us also remember and appreciate the invaluable role played by homemakers. Their patience, dedication, and selfless service deserve equal respect and recognition.
