It seems that authorities have finally sprung into action following the accidental deaths of two bikers near Kannewal Junction at Bethora in Ponda. It is learnt that staff from various departments visited the site to test the traffic signal system that was installed nearly one-and-a-half months ago but remained inactive. According to the locals the signal system was a long pending demand of over two years and is now expected to be operational within the next two days.
