Concrete roads are more reliable option for State

Come monsoon and roads in Goa are full of potholes and muddy water stagnates in and around the roads. Every year during monsoon in Goa from June which lasts for about 3 months, it's surprising how the Government does not realise and keeps quiet on the issues related to road conditions. It's only when you walk in the city you come to know the conditions. Road leading to KTC Panjim and exit road from main bus stand needs quick repairs. There is not even half metre good road without potholes. In fact we can see a narrow foot road with big potholes. Instead of spending crores of rupees in building new structures it is sensible to create good roads. Panaji being a capital city, a Smart City remains a dream for the citizens with present condition of roads. One wonders where the road tax paid is invested. PWD has to be more vigilant on such issues and instead of spending a huge amount on tar roads for 6 months a concrete road is a better option.
