Goa is a place where liquor flows freely and attracts hordes of tourists. Hence drunken driving is an issue which needs to be tackled with a firm hand by the concerned authorities. Suspension of the driving license for a predetermined period needs to be the punishment for the first violation and the period of suspension of the license increased for every subsequent violation. The licenses of habitual violators need to be suspended permanently.
