The Chief Minister also declared that municipal workers who have served for over 20 years will see their pay scale doubled, bringing long-overdue financial relief and recognition to veteran staff. But till today BJP government and municipality office have not taken action to keep the hard working municipality office staff happy by giving what they have promised. Even the Margao municipal council posts are not filled as the test results are still pending. The municipality office has to make the job permanent of the daily wage staff who are working there for years. Remember that the government or municipality office cannot give jobs to all the hundreds of candidates. Everyone wants government jobs but no one wants to put their children in government schools? Requesting the MLA and minister of Margao and the authorities to solve the issue as soon as possible.
